You might take that to mean resting, or pausing, or even meditating. "Take a seat" is a common phrase in yoga and in meditation. I have found the benefit of a meditation practice and see parallels between it and the art-making process. Both are intrinsic to me. So, while the chairs are interesting in their own right, there's more than meets the eye. Really look, see if you can decipher the tea below the surface.
