Workshop Policies - Hosted by TraillWorks
Jennie puts together her own workshops, both in person and online, and also teaches at other art centers. These policies apply only to workshops organized and hosted by TraillWorks. For workshops off location, see the hosting centers' policies.
CANCELLATIONS:
Please keep in mind that supplies are purchased, and organized, as well as lessons planned, based on the number of enrollees. A lot of work goes before the running of a workshop, and spaces are often limited. Should you find yourself in a situation where you must cancel, workshops may be refunded, shy of a $50 cancellation fee, if notice is given 2 weeks or more prior to the date of the workshop. Cancellations made within 13 days of the workshop will not be refunded, with the exception of Covid-19 or severe illness. REFUNDS:
Should a workshop not run due to low enrollment, a full refund will be made. |
RESPECTFUL ENVIRONMENT
Students have the responsibility of showing respect to other students. When talking about each other's work - please be considerate and tactful, respecting people's differences of opinion and their privacy. TraillWorks reserves the right to dismiss any students for hostile, profane, or discriminatory actions/communications, without refund.

Additional Info
SKETCHBOOKS:
All students should come with a sketchbook, pencil and eraser for all workshops. Helpful for keeping notes, gathering ideas, and developing your techniques at home. ART SUPPLIES: Each workshop will outline whether supplies are supplied by the venue or if you need to BYO. If supplies are ever a barrier to attending, please reach out to Jennie to see how she may be able to support you. You will receive specific lists upon enrollment. CLOTHING:
Please wear suitable clothing for an art class, i.e. clothing that can get dirty, and breathable in the heat. We may not always get messy, but given the nature of what we are doing, please come prepared. There may be specific recommendations for specific workshops. Those will be provided upon enrollment. TraillWorks is not responsible for soiled clothing. |
COVID-19 Precautions:
Masking is optional and welcome should you prefer. |
MINDSET:
Join with an openness for discovery, with recognition that learning anything new may encounter frustration, and with the faith that you will find growth and many moments of clarity through your creativity and process.
