Part of my TeaScape series that layers landscape imagery over salvaged tea packaging. The landscape and tea correlate in a dissonant way. Healing ginger tea offers a distinction of space and possibly safety from devastating smoke billowing. Peace and destruction share the picture plane, with the hope of peace.


Aquabord is a wood panel treated with an absorbent ground that permits the use of watercolor and water media. This piece incorporates water-soluble graphite (pencil that dissolves with water) and water-soluble crayon.


Ships flat, in a an archival clear bag.
