Take a seat at the base of this yellow sandstone cliff on a deep blue chair. Remind yourself of the calming properties of chamomile. This piece was created immediately upon my return from a trip to Montana just a few months ago. The trip out west, intended to as a business trip to attend an opening at the Yellowstone Museum of Art and partly a trip with my sister, ended up being my first solo trip. There was an isolation there, certainly magnified by the spaciousness and sparseness of the landscape. It was an isolation that allowed for the breath, for breathing, to hold space.
