Part of my Take a Seat series, depicting chairs in isolation that invite you to sit. This idea of taking a seat is inspired by my meditation practice in which teachers often use that phrase to transition into meditation. This piece is named for the Camellia flower and a portion of the quote by Jack Kornfield, "Enlightenment is intimacy with all things." The quote and the Tazo Awake black tea are transferred onto the paper, underneath the watercolor.
