I'm so excited to be able to offer another calendar after a 3-year hiatus! This year's seems especially cohesive compare to previous calendars, with twelve months of new works featuring my sainted appliances, both on the runway and in the landscape, and leftover chocolate cakes.
I've always been interested in inclusiveness, coming from a mixed-faith marriage. In that spirit I've made the 2016 Calendar more inclusive and included major holidays from 17 world religions. The title page features a key so you can correlate the holidays with their religions.
And, it's also important to me that I can give back through the work I do. So 10% of all net profits of my 2016 Calendar will be donated to a NJ chapter of Dining for Women, an organization whose mission is to fund grassroots organizations to improve gender equality internationally. I've attended a dinner and was captivated by the efforts and successes the organization has assisted!
If all of this seems enticing to you, today marks the final day of the Pre-Print Sale and a chance to reserve your copy before they are even delivered to my studio. The calendars retail for $16.50, but today you can purchase for $14.85, and if you're a newsletter subscriber, you can save even more! If you're not currently receiving my newsletter, subscribe now!
Or, go ahead and order your copy now. Though 2015 is not over, and I aim to live in the moment, lets also look forward to planting seeds for the coming year.

Sometimes called the Kitchen God's Artist, I'm balancing mothering two energetic sons, our new pup, Cider, while making and teaching art. TraillWorks is the apron under which I create and teach. My own art develops mostly in my home studio, but is often spurred through my teaching, and travels. I just relocated to Durham, NC, from West Orange, NJ, so my studio is in renovation right now.
