Studio Policies - Please Read Upon Enrolling

Attendance:
Classes at TraillWorks are relatively small and space for students is limited. When you purchase packages you are both reserving your spot at the studio and if you purchased a prepay package, you are also saving on the weekly rate for that given spot. Please make every effort to consider the package you purchase in advance. If you're not sure you can make weekly classes, please consider a smaller package, possibly in tandem with drop-in classes that can be used intermittently, as long as space permits. Or you can purchase drop in classes alone and pay as you go, space permitting. Classes purchased in a prepay package must be used consecutively, with the exception of classes offered on a Flex Schedule (these are noted). Make-ups:
If a class is missed due to a student's own conflict, the only opportunity for a makeup lies in the responsibility of the student in setting it up, and is dependent on space in a class. Private sessions are always available, but must be paid for additionally. If space is not available, the class may not be made up. All make-ups must take place within the package time period of the missed lesson or the lesson will be forfeited. (With the exception being if the final class of the paid package is the one missed.) Cancellations:
Classes cancelled within 24 hours cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Please notify me in advance if you cannot make an upcoming class. |

Students have the responsibility of showing respect to others students, supplies used, artwork and the studio. TraillWorks reserves the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate behavior.

Refunds:
Due to the intimate nature of lessons through TraillWorks, lessons are non-refundable. Sessions must be used within the time frame of the package purchased. The exceptions are when a group doesn't have the enrollment to run, or if you choose to withdraw a week or more prior to the start of a class. When a student enrolls in a group and the group doesn’t have the enrollment to run, a refund will be made. Should you choose to withdraw two weeks or more prior to the start of your class, you will be refunded your tuition, shy of a $25 processing fee and your paid registration. You can expect to receive a refund within 4 weeks of notification.

TraillWorks accepts payment online via Stripe and PayPal on its site. Should you choose to book through Jennie directly, she can invoice via Quickbooks. Venmo payments are accepted as well.

Are highly encouraged and used. Helpful for keeping notes, gathering ideas, and developing your techniques at home; sketchbook assignments are often given to reinforce lessons learned in the studio. PLUS research shows doodling helps you remember better!
Clothing:
Please wear suitable clothing for an art class, i.e. clothing that can get dirty. We may not always get messy, but given the nature of what we are doing, please come prepared. TraillWorks is not responsible for soiled clothing.

Closures will be decided based on the West Orange Board of Education’s school closures and notifications will be sent via email, and posted on Facebook and on TraillWorks.com.
