Wild Sweet Utah
Image Transfer and Watercolor on Strathmore CP Watercolor Paper
Mounted on Cradled Wood Panel
Available unframed or framed
5" x 7"
Part of Jennie’s new series of Tea Scapes that combine image transfers of tea packaging with layered landscapes of environments she’s explored, to both salvage detritus from the trash, as well as depicting a need for space and increased mindfulness.
This piece draws reference from the red rocks around Eastern Utah outside of Moab, and a Wild Orange and Ginger flavored teas. I made a choice in this piece to allow the white background of the paper remain more dominant - also drawing more attention to the text that was transferred.
THIS PIECE IS AWAITING NOTIFICATION OF ENTRY INTO A JURIED SHOW. Contact me if interested in this artwork.
