Painted en plein air as part of a local event hosted by Riker Hill Art Center, this is the first larger watercolor painted on site. I spent the summer teaching a watercolor class at the South Mountain Reservation (a county park near my home) and selected this location, Painter's Point, for each class. The Rahway River runs through the reservation, trickling through the forest.
