This mixed media watercolor evolved from a demo first painting round forms (tennis and golf balls) then adding in collaged magazine parts. I had no intent to develop a full piece around it, but the painting spoke to me and little by little, parts and paint were added, manipulated and this happened. I see it as a pivotal piece for me, incorporating elements from my appliance works (spoons), but employing intuition and abstraction in a way that is new to me.
