The Zoo Loop is a paved 1.7 mile trail located in the South Mountain Reservation, this portion located in West Orange, NJ. It's a gem that meanders through wooded forests, by the zoo train, onto bridges over damns along the Orange Reservoir. I run here periodically and find solace. The reference photo for this painting was taken on a warm April morning when the plants were starting to grow and the reservoir was covered in mist. The image is painted on a 2.75" diameter ceramic ornament.
Each ARTament hangs with a red satin ribbon and comes in a turquoise gift box with a gift card and label. Each ARTament is signed and titled.
