The first of many Appliance Portraits, this was painted after my husband and I had a fight over how to clean pots and pans. So rather than continue the fight, I painted the appliance I thought should do the work. We still don't always agree on how to clean various appliances, but lots of my paintings developed from this first. Oil on canvas paper, framed with a streamlined brushed silver frame. 16" x 20".
