 Jennie Traill Schaeffer is an artist/art educator who uses her evolving spiritual meditation practice as a lens - surrealism and realism merge into vibrant watercolor and oil paintings, often anchored by tea package transfers, quotes and set in local environments. Chairs have been a constant thread in her work, currently situated in landscapes - empty, but inviting. Jennie is a recent stroke survivor and is currently recovering, finding her way through artmaking.
