FAQs When Buying from TraillWorks

Artist, Jennie Traill Schaeffer

Remember you are investing in art by a living, individual artist, who is also balancing her health and family.

ORDER FULFILLMENT: I'm an individual artist balancing my health and family. I take my time packing / readying orders. I always contact you upon receipt of you order and will maintain communication through the process. Printed artwork such as yoga mats, giclées and pillows are printed on demand and not usually kept in inventory. Orders that require printing may take longer to fulfill due to printer turnaround / shipping times. If commissions take longer than planned, I'm up front about it.

SHIPPING: Items will ship through USPS ASAP. I try to estimate how long each item may take to prepare for delivery, but it's not always perfect. Any delays to shipping will be communicated. Any custom work will be shipped upon completion and customer will be notified.

RETURNS: I know you will be over the moon with the pieces that you purchase, commission, and receive. I make every effort to create quality, archival pieces and take pride in the finish of my work. However, if you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact me. It is important to me that you are thrilled with your artwork and hope that it will last more than a lifetime.

I can provide an equal value exchange with non-custom artwork purchased, if the artwork is in its original condition. If the work was shipped, return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Any original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Packages must be boxed with original packaging materials and shipped via the same handler.

Custom artwork is non-refundable, per terms of contract.

COPYRIGHT: All copyright and reproduction rights are reserved by the artist. The artist is not liable for any damage that occurs to an artwork post delivery to buyer. Purchaser agrees to not destroy the artwork without first offering to return ownership of it to the artist.   Also, to track provenance of the artwork, please notify Jennie of any transfer, gift or sale of work that you've purchased.
